Dr. Steve Timm is a 1986 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. He has 10 years of emergency and critical care experience. As chief of staff at Milwaukee's Animal Emergency Center he learned trauma surgery, oncology and orthopedics.  He has developed a mobile small animal surgical support service. He has repaired over a thousand ACL's using the lateral extracapsular suture stablilizing technique, and is constantly researching ideas, equipment and techniques to improve on ACL repairs in dogs. He also has vast experience in external fixation, internal fixation with pins, wires, bone plating, grafting, ligament and tendon repair surgery, and also a wide variety of soft tissue procedures.
